Born and raised on Staten Island, Henry is the youngest of three children. Inspired by neighbors who served in the NYPD, Henry aspired to one day join the force. He studied briefly at John Jay College but soon decided that he would better serve his dream by joining the military. He joined the US Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville, FL. During his time in the navy he ws deployed twice.
While in FL, Henry welcomed his twins, Kaylynn and Austin. Once he separated from the Navy, he returned to Staten Island to await his entrance into the NYPD Academy. He entered the Academy in July 2002. He was assigned to precincts in Brooklyn and Staten Island throughout his career and became a Detective in November 2009. Henry retired in 2019, giving him the opportunity to spend more time with his two youngest daughters, JoieAnn and Gianna, which he shares with his wife Gina.
Henry is a loving and loyal father, husband, son, brother and friend. He loves practical jokes, being a girl dad and food. He was always willing to help everyone and no request was too big.
